Ever wondered what happens when a horse brushes or over-reaches?

The most common item of protection used on horses are boots on the lower leg. Despite this and the fact that lower leg injuries are the most common injury sustained by horses there is surprisingly still no standard that manufacturers have to meet, in contrast to standards for headgear and body protectors for riders.
